AUCTION END DATE : 31st August 2008

A less lively auction than the opening 1 of the season.
167 lots were sold, for a total value of £13,026.80.

Top lot of this auction was Magnificent Bid, an unraced 2yo colt who left Shotgun Mike to join
Winning Post Stables for the princely sum of £833.34.
After that came Steph De La Dean, once an inmate of the powerful Derekw10 stable, she had
been residing in the Topcert Stable until this auction, she has now moved to Butlers Yard at a
cost of £650. We would expect to see her racking up lenty of wins over the classic distances
for her new connections.

Our own stable was again in action during the auction, seeing Dour Stayer join Shotgun Mike
for £61 and unraced G2 colt Hott Stuff join A Up stables for £30.
New additions to the stable were Bad Boy Meat who is a King George candidate at a cost of
£308.92 from Mr Tug, and also Sincere Apologies from Hendon Racing Club costing £177.50.
